HEALTHQUAL International is funded through the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), and can be implemented in PEPFAR focus countries. Participation is initiated through an engagement process between the country's Ministry of Health and HEALTHQUAL International, in collaboration with the CDC country office.
2. I am a provider working in a country that is implementing HEALTHQUAL. How does my facility become a participating site?
Participation in HEALTHQUAL International is coordinated by the Ministry of Health in-country, in collaboration with the CDC.
3. How is HEALTHQUAL International funded?
HEALTHQUAL International is supported by the Office of the Global AIDS Coordinator (OGAC), HRSA, the CDC Global AIDS Program (GAP) Office in each country, where the project is integrated into the national AIDS program.
4. Can HEALTHQUAL International be implemented in countries that are not designated as PEPFAR focus countries?
