HIVQUAL in Nigeria
HIVQUAL-Nigeria History HIVQUAL Nigeria was piloted with 8 core indicators in 20 sites. With the baseline data collection completed in March 2008, the team is currently working with sites on the implementation of QI projects, to be followed by the second round of data collection. HIVQUAL Nigeria is led by the Federal Ministry of Health and CDC-Nigeria.

| Home to almost 140 million people, Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa. Almost 3 million Nigerians are estimated to be living with HIV/AIDS. Thanks to increased funding through PEPFAR and other agencies, antiretroviral rollout has resulted in an estimated 126,000 people are receiving ARV treatment as of September 2007.
